Give Yourself A Break

Give yourself a break from the negativities surrounding you by creating a distance. 

The distance from your “fair weather” friends or unsupportive family, gossiping officemates, egocentric boss, or your miserable job. It would definitely do you a lot of good if you stay away from them because they contribute greatly to your difficulty in being able to finally be an all around happy person.

For starters, you can rely on the answering machine to screen your calls. Do some light exercises on coffee breaks so as to dissuade you from engaging in office gossips. Use your iPod or MP3 to drown away talks and rumours about officemates or celebrities. Listen to uplifting music or motivational tapes.
